Left to right or right to left? I am occasionally asked if the beavers always eat the bark off of branches in the same direction. The answer is no. In fact, in this video, the beaver eats the bark off of two branches in one sitting and goes a different direction for each. In the first part of the video, he strips the bark moving from his left to his right. Around 3:15 into the video he grabs another branch and strips it from his right to his left. They really don’t seem to have a preference. FYI
