These little sturgeon are almost ready for their big adventure to Georgia rivers. The Summerville Hatchery receives sturgeon eggs or 1 inch fry and raises them in the hatching house until October. They're fed a diet of brine shrimp, marine plankton, ground up blood worms and commercial fish feed 4 times a day to ensure they survive once they're released.
