** ELECTORAL INTEGRITY ** Yesterday the Australian Electoral Commission revealed that the Flinders “independent” candidate, was in fact the second highest funded Climate-200-teal in the country. Over two-thirds of the “independent” funds came from vested interests and entities based in Sydney - not from Peninsula locals, as you were told. Last year, the Australian Parliament legislated to put an “stop the billionaire’s arms race in federal elections” - that’s the Government’s words, not mine. |
