About two weeks ahead of the next possible launch window, NASA said on Friday that it has moved the rocket system for its delayed Artemis 2 lunar mission back to the launch pad.

The Artemis II rocket, which will send astronauts around the far side of the moon, is returning to the launch pad after an issue forced NASA to roll the rocket back for repairs last month.

Teams worked for hours beginning early morning Friday, March 20 to slowly roll the towering Space Launch System rocket across a 4-mile span of the Kennedy Space Center.
